We work with our European and international counterparts to ensure patient safety in the UK.

The EU and international team focuses on:

  • influencing international developments in healthcare regulation as well as nursing and midwifery practice
  • working collaboratively with EU and international stakeholders, and,
  • ensuring the NMC complies with the requirements of EU legislation.

    We engage with a wide range of stakeholders and interest groups to influence European decision makers and ensure public protection is considered when drafting legislation and proposals
