Cautions
Reprimanding a nurse or midwife for their actions
The nurse or midwife is cautioned for their behaviour but is not prevented from practising.
The order can last from between one and five years and, during this time, employers checking the nurse or midwife's registration details will see why the caution order has been issued and how long for registration.
