Warning over bogus NMC emails

Nursing and midwifery organisations should not give out personal information
We have received reports that nursing and midwifery organisations are being targeted by bogus emails, claiming to be from the NMC, requesting personal data including passport numbers.
Legitimate NMC email addresses always end in @nmc-uk.org - we do not use any outside providers (e.g. Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc).
Do not volunteer ANY personal information to scam callers or suspicious emails.
