Video troubleshooting
Can't see our videos? Maybe we can help
If any of the video on this website are not playing correctly, then try the following remedies.
YouTube is blocked
If you are accessing our website through a computer from work or within a public institution, then it is possible that content from YouTube has been blocked. You will need to contact your system administrator or technical support team in order to gain access for this website.
Flash is not installed or out of date
In order to view videos on YouTube, your computer uses Adobe Flash Player. If you do not have this, or your version is out of date, then you can download the latest version of Flash here.
No audio
Check that the volume is up on your computer as well as the volume in the YouTube player (next to the Play button). If neither of these has any affect, then check the audio devices:
- Windows: Start menu>Control Panel>Sounds and audio devices
- Apple Mac: System preferences>Sound
Video is stuck loading
This could be caused by a lot of things, but the most regular is a slow or overloaded internet connection. If you have any other streaming applications open, like Quicktime, Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, then shut these down to avoid any conflicts and lessen the strain.
