Policy for nurses and midwives who have received a caution or conviction for an alcohol or drug related offence
Following a meeting by the Executive Management Board, the NMC policy for alcohol or drug related offences has been reviewed.
The revised policy covers all cautions and convictions for alcohol or drug related offences notified to the registrations team in respect of nurses and midwives applying for admission, renewal, or readmission to the register.
